about
Joan Snow is from Game of Thrones. She is the rule!63 version of Jon Snow.
Below in her history section is what happened with her through canon as everyone else is the same gender they are in the show. However, I'm happy to work out an AU where other members of her canon are genderbent as well.
I'm also open to playing her from different canons, AU-ing her into other times and scenarios.

history
When Ned came back from the South, after helping his friend Robert in his rebellion he brought back a babe. He told his wife that the baby girl was his, a product of a dalliance he'd had while at war, named Joan Snow. While she didn't like it or Joan, Catelyn didn't argue when he made plans and arrangements for Joan to live and grow up with them in Winterfell.
Joan was made to sit with Catelyn, and Sansa and Arya as they grew up, in lessons to learn how to be a proper lady. While she wasn't granted the House name, Catelyn wanted her to be proper if she was going to live and attend functions as Ned's bastard daughter. But much like Arya, Joan didn't enjoy needlework and learning how to serve tea. She had a serious interest in weapons. When Catelyn wasn't watching her too closely, she watched Robb and Theon practice and after a little work she was able to sweet talk a few guards to train her in private.
She grew good with a sword and a bow, even besting Robb once when he'd found out that she'd been training. And he helped her to train and become better in the dark of night, under Catelyn's nose. Thankfully the long sleeves of her dress hid any bruises that she gained from her practices. In turn, she helped Arya to learn as well, despite Catelyn frowning about her proper daughter learning to fight over learning to be a lady.
When Tyrion left with the men taking the Black, Joan road out with them, wanting some space between Winterfell and the whispers of Bastard and Whore getting to her the older she grew and wanting to be free of them. Ned argued her decision, as did her Uncle, because women weren't allowed to take the Black, weren't technically allowed at Castle Black. But Tyrion was kind enough to fight for her, and so she rode to Castle Black.
Joan never joined the Black, but she did travel with them beyond the wall, proving herself more than capable of handling herself in everything they encountered and befriending Sam.
Most of canon followed the same from there. She proved herself to the Wildlings. The Black saw her as a witch an turned on her, killing her before the Red Witch brought her back to life. She lead an army against the Bolton's at Sansa's request to help take their home back, and she was named Queen in the North after ending the Bolton reign. She was friends with Ygrette, and fell for a male Wildling who she shared a moment with inside a cave. She traveled south to Dragonstone to meet with Daenerys, and while they shared a connection and a bond it didn't turn romantic. But she did become a very close confidant to the dragon queen.
Season 8 can be followed, but it's not great so AU'ing anything in that realm of events would be preferred.
